Unlocking Potential
Unlocking Potential (UP) was a project that helped participants boost their skills and confidence. It aimed to unlock new career opportunities and empower individuals to take control of their future.
UP offered fun and engaging workshops to help participants gain new skills and build confidence, making it easier for them to advance in their careers.
The project teamed up with employers to select participants from their staff. Staff members joined interactive workshops and received support from experienced coaches and advisors.
Northern Stage, Venture Zero, YMCA North Tyneside, and Newcastle United Foundation facilitated these sessions.
This project ended on the 31st March 2025.
Career Kickstart
Career Kickstart was an employability programme designed to empower economically inactive clients throughout their journey towards employment.
Career Kickstart understood the challenges and barriers that clients faced in securing meaningful employment. That’s why it developed a bespoke training programme aimed at uplifting economically inactive residents of Gateshead.
Clients were referred to the service, where their employment challenges were discussed with them.
This project ended on the 31st March 2025.
Multiply
Multiply was a financial wellbeing project designed to help people improve their confidence with everyday maths.
It offered practical, workplace-based sessions that showed how simple maths skills could support better financial decisions and wellbeing.
The programme was fully funded for North of Tyne employers and delivered in partnership with local organisations.
This project ended on the 31st March 2025.
