At Society Matters CIC we aim to tackle societies largest injustices, inequalities and challenges through our unique and innovative projects. Each initiative, whether focused on educational empowerment, inequality, sustainability, or social welfare, is an example of our commitment to drive change. These projects not only address immediate needs but also sow the seeds of long-term change, fostering a sense of unity, resilience and community among the people and organisations we work with.

Suitability

Suitability’s focus is to support men regardless of their background or circumstances leading to unemployment.

Inspired by the impactful work of Smart Works Newcastle for women, and guided by Darren Tate’s original vision, we provide coaching, clothing and confidence building to support men, and people identifying as men, into secure and sustainable work.

Child Poverty Reduction

Society Matters cic has worked in partnership with the North East Combined Authority (NECA), and formerly the North of Tyne Combined Authority (now dissolved), to enable employers across the area to enhance the financial resilience of your staff. We’ll look to identify no to low-cost measures that can be implemented to ensure staff are able to navigate even the most troubling of times financially.
